ACN (American Communications Network) has been in business since 1993 and was founded in Concord, North Carolina. Acn is a multi-level marketing company that provides telecommunications, energy (in some states), tv, and other services. You can become, what is called, an IBO (Independent Business Owner) and start your own home business.

Donald Trump endorses ACN and their products were even on his TV show The Apprentice not once. But 2 times in 2 separate seasons. Another good sign that the scam claims are not true. If there was an ACN scam Donald Trump would not put his seal of approval on this company.

Donald Trump would not get behind a company, and put his name and branding, his mult-billion dollar approval on a scam company. The Donald Trump brand is worth billions and he wouldn’t jeopordize that brand for a bad business. He has a lot to lose to associate with a bad company. That would just be ignorant.

The ACN Scam Claim CANNOT Be True

So where do the claims come from? Well for one, most people that start a home business get started with the “get-rich-quick” mentality. They see how much potential money they can make, they get excited, and if they’re not a six-figure earner in 90 days they start to question the business?

Really? Think about it. It takes about 4 years to get a bachelor’s degree. If it takes 4 years for that don’t you think it’s going to take some time to learn a few new skills? Now, don’t get me wrong.

It doesn’t have to take you 4 years to start seeing success with this company – but just realize that it is a real business and you will not get rich overnight. There is real work involved.

I think this is one of the main problems about the ACN scam claims. People have unrealistic expectations from the get-go. Yes you can make a lot of money. But if you don’t have experience, as with anything, it might take a little while to get the business going. And that’s okay because it will get going a lot faster than working at a job for 40 years and then retire and try to depend on Social Security.

Uncovering the ACN scam Claims

The second reason I think there are ACN scam claims is this: people don’t get the proper marketing training. You will have to learn communication skills. MLM is a people business. Let’s say you’re an engineer and all you’ve done all day, for 8 hours a day, is sit behind a computer and design and now you have to go and talk to people, realize that you might not be the best communicator right off the bat?

Know that to overcome the ACN scam claims you will have to learn a few new skills, you will have to develop a business mindset (instead of an employee mindset) and you will have to create a marketing plan and stick to that plan and do it everyday.

Another reason there are ACN scam claims is this: Most newbies to MLM do not get the proper network marketing training. And this can happen with any profession.

The first thing most people are taught is to prospect their friends and family. While this is a way to quickly get your first paycheck with ACN, and it does work, it does not last long people because go through their warm market list pretty quick. Usually within 60-90 days.

The name of the network marketing game and plan is leads aka new people to introduce the service and/or business to. Leads are the lifeblood of the biz. Without them there is no business.

Most people that fall into the “scam” club simply never got the right marketing training to generate high quality leads.
