Debunking the Send Out Cards Scam

Is Send Out Cards a scam? Let’s find out.
Send Out Cards is a network marketing company specializing on personalized greeting cards and gifts.
This type of business falls into the home business industry (aka network marketing) and gift card industry, perfect for those who enjoy making customized gifts and cards and for those who want to have their own home business.
Send Out Cards Scam History
The company was founded in 2003 by Kody Bateman and was officially launched in 2005. Due to its success in the network marketing field, Send Out Cards is known as a large first-class mailing company, having sent over 80 million cards since the company was founded.
The company headquarters is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Send Out Cards scam accusations are false. Most companies fail in the first 5 years. This company is going on 10 years.
Sending gift cards never gets old, and while there are plenty of greeting cards that can be bought in stores, what makes their products unique is that it allows the users to create their own greeting card. One has to simply create a user account, and from there he can choose a greeting card of his choice from the card catalog in the website.
Send Out Cards Is Not a Scam
The catalog has more than 12,000 greeting cards available in 40 different categories. This gives the user plenty of options to choose from, depending on the event or occasion. The Send Out Cards scam claims are not true.
Send Out Cards also allows the user to customize his own greeting card by using his own text and pictures, making it more personal and special. Users are even allowed to have their own handwriting and signature.
With just one click, one can expect his greeting card to be sent over in an instant to anyone anywhere in the world. Apart from the greeting cards, they also offer other gifts such as brownies, stuffed animals, gift baskets, and many more. This company has a great product that people enjoy using. The Send Out Cards scam claims are not valid.
Send Out Cards Leadership and Management
The Send Out Cards team is managed by the founder and CEO Kody Bateman, who was inspired to start the business after having lost his brother in an accident without saying goodbye.
Along with Kody Bateman, the Send Out Cards team is also lead by JB Henrikson (Chief Financial Officer), Erik Laver (President and Chief Operating Office), Joe Kenemore (Vice President of Sales and Marketing), Sam Robinson (Vice President of Operations), Leann McFalls (Executive Assistant), and Jannette Roach (Human Resources).
This company is not some fly-by-night company. The management team has a ton of experience. The Send Out Cards scam claims are not true.
Competition and the Compensation Plan
There are a lot of greeting card companies that Send Out Cards can consider as a competitor, but in the MLM industry, there has not been any other company that offers the same products that they offer. This gives the company an advantage.
Listed below are different ways of earning money:
- Customer Direct Sales Profit
- Monthly profits
- Wholesale Packages
- Entrepreneur Plus Packages
- 7 Level Volume Bonus
- Leadership Volume Bonus
- Seminar Treat’em Right
To get started, the user may purchase the Wholesale Premium Package to become a wholesaler. The Wholesale Premium Package provides the users all the options available, and allows the wholesaler to purchase products at the lowest price. Another way to join the company is by being a retail customer.
Final Conclusion: The Send Out Cards scam claims are false and far from the truth. The Send Out Cards scam claims arise when people falsely promote getting rich quick overnight. You can get rich but it does require consistent action and work (as with anything).

Just like any other network marketing business people may have the mis-conception of a business to be a scam if it does not work for them. It takes hard work to build your business let alone a network marketing business. 7 out of 10 businesses fail; this also goes for an independent distributorship in any network marketing company.
My sister tried this recently and seemed to like it okay. She enjoyed making funny cards and such and she thinks that she may one day ascend the Level 7 and make a lot of money. As someone who traveled a more “traditional” business path, I have my doubts. I worked for many years as an executive for a utility company and I earned my paycheck through hard work, elbow grease and yes, a little bit of luck. Still, the virtues which allowed me to compete in three sports in college were enough to propel me to success one the business world and I am thankful for that.
I hope my sister finds what she is looking for but, at worst, I now have a place to for this Year’s Christmas cards!
Thanks for commenting Wolf. Make no mistake about it, it will take hard work and elbow grease for your sister to build a successful long-term Send Out Cards business as well. Cheers!
